ISconf 2 was the first public release of
code developed in concert with
the concepts described on Infrastructures.Org. It is still the
recommended release for production use.
A basic philosophy of ISconf 2 is to keep the code as simple as
possible, use native tools like 'make', rely on nothing that isn't
available during boot, and keep it easy to port.
